Coaching Career

I've taught informally for years, helping family members and friends with their tennis games. This is my second year coaching at O'Dowd. I drafted captions explaining approximately 100 photos in an instructional book by a renowned tennis coach and author, Paul Fein, who inscribed a gift of one of his recent books with the following: "A very good friend and one of the most knowledgeable tennis persons I've come across in 60 years."

Why O'Dowd?

Members of the O'Dowd girls and boys teams are nice young people, intelligent, courteous, and respectful. All are interested in improving and some are in love with the game. Tom is a great guy to work under. He is a dedicated coach and a great guy to be around.
