Coaching Career

I have served as Head Tennis Coach at Bishop O'Dowd High School for the last 11 years. Coaching my two daughters brought us all to O'Dowd in 2012. In that time span we have won 4 NCS Girls Doubles, 2 NCS Boys Doubles, and one WACC Team title. Lifetime tennis player and Cal Poly SLO Alum ('89) including NCAA D2 Team Champions ('86).

Why O'Dowd?

I enjoy coaching at O'Dowd for many reasons. It is a technical sport that teaches discipline, patience and tenacity. To see players progress and gain self-confidence, make friends and learn to put the team over their own needs is very satisfying.
