Coaching Career

Nova Bramed has over 40 years of combined volleyball experience as both a player and a coach. ?He formally played international volleyball representing his country on the Moroccan National Team throughout the 1980s and 1990s. As Club Director and Head Coach at Beach Vibes Volleyball Club for the past 12 years, he has prepared many players to successfully go on to achieve their dreams of playing volleyball at the collegiate level, with his club alumni going on to play at schools such as UCSB, SDSU, and UCD. He has been on the Bishop O’Dowd High School volleyball coaching staff since 2017 as an Associate Head Coach for the girls' team and as Head Coach since 2019, as well as Head Coach for the boys' team since 2021. Since joining the Dragons, the team has achieved great success: Girls - 3X NCS Division I Champions (2017, 2018, 2019) - CIF NorCal Division I Champions (2018) - CIF State Division I Runner-Up (2018) - CIF NorCal Open Division Runner-Up and Top 4 Ranking in the State (2019) Boys - 2X NCS Division III Champions (2022, 2023) - CIF NorCal Division III Runner-Up (2022) - CIF NorCal Division II Runner-Up (2023)
